Reset TeamViewer Commercial Use Detected: A Frustrating Experience

As a regular user of TeamViewer, I was shocked when I received a notification stating that my account had been blocked due to commercial use detected. The company I work for does utilize TeamViewer commercially, but I take great care to keep my personal and professional uses separate. Despite this, my personal access has been completely blocked without any review or verification.

I have tried to use TeamViewer on multiple devices, including those that don't host any commercial websites. In fact, the only website hosted on one of these machines is a non-profit group's backup server, and I plan to add my own personal website and that of my retired scientist father in the future. It's essential for me to understand why this keeps happening and whether TeamViewer is attempting to force me into purchasing a commercial license by repeatedly flagging my account.

I have successfully appealed previous instances of 'Commercial Use Detected' and believe that my usage meets the terms of the license agreement. The only change I've made recently was uninstalling OpenSuse 15.2 on one machine and installing Ubuntu 20.02.1, along with Apache Server 2 for self-educational purposes.

Despite explaining this to TeamViewer's technical support, I continue to receive the 'Commercial Use Detected' message every time I try to use the software in non-commercial license mode. This has happened five times in a row, and I'm at my wit's end trying to understand what triggers this false detection.

As a loyal customer, I expect more from TeamViewer. I hope that they can provide me with a clear explanation for this issue and take steps to rectify the situation. In the meantime, I'll continue to appeal the blockage and seek a resolution to this frustrating experience.
